Couple of old farts

What a fun day with beautiful scenery, great company, and a really good look at what exactly is at the southern border in the middle of the desert in the middle of nowhere. Where the old border is still standing (well kind of) and the new border while impressive is definitely not secure because of the gaping hole at the end. It's interesting how in the areas of crossing they have elaborate checkpoints and make people think it is actually secure. Let me assure you it's not. I stood right there and looked at it. Its surreal standing right there next to this incredibly massive structure. In case you can't tell I couldn't get enough pictures.  Had to do a little creeping and crawling to get there and we stopped along the way to see the things we wanted to see.
